All of our soy wax candles are made with 100% soy wax flakes by Golden Wax. Our soy wax is purchased locally right here in the Fraser Valley. Golden Wax makes plant based wax that is both organic and vegan which leads to a cleaner burning candle. Each of our candles are made by melting down soy wax at a controlled temperature until it’s ready to pour. Once the wax reaches the right temperature and is completely melted we add our premium fragrance oils to the wax before carefully pouring it into each vessel by hand.

Soy wax for candle making is often sold and packaged as either flakes, slabs, or beads. Flakes are by far the most common of the three methods for of soy wax. We exclusively use soy wax for the many benefits that make it ideal for our candle making process. Thanks to their large but thin surface area, flakes melt much easier than both slabs and beads. Another benefit, especially over slabs is that they are much easier to measure when portioning your soy wax. Although it’s easier to measure, you will need to use an analog or digital scale to get an accurate reading. This is due to the irregular size of each one individual piece of soy.
